Siege the Castle
A daily physics puzzle. Each day a new castle stands on the field. You have a trebuchet and five stones. Bring down as much of it as you can.
How to play
- Choose your ground. Circle the walls and drag up or down to move closer or farther away.
- Take aim. Tap where you want the stone to land and the trebuchet lines itself up; the dotted arc and the ring show exactly where it will strike. Drag to fine-tune, and pick a high arc to drop over the walls or a low arc to hit them straight on.
- Loose the stone. The castle is built from real blocks with real weight: hit a tower low and it falls, knock out a wall's base and what's above comes down with it.
- Find the powder. Red kegs sit on the keep roof and the wall walks. Hit one, or bring the masonry down on it, and it goes up, taking the stonework around it and any keg nearby with it.
Scoring
Your score comes from how much of the castle you raze and how many of its banners you fell. The fewer stones you use, the bigger the multiplier: two times for a castle brought down with one stone, down to one times for all five. You can call off the siege early and score it at any point. Whether to throw one more stone or stop is the whole game.
A new castle every day
The castle changes at midnight your local time, and everyone gets the same one that day, so you can compare how you did with friends. Your results stay on your device. There's no account or download.
